McCalls 7606

M7606 I’ve committed to the #SewYourStash movement and am making serious pledges to sew all of the hoarded fabrics I have stored in my garage. This purple/gray cotton sateen is something I bought over a year ago, but never touched. It worked great with this wrap skirt. Wrap On, Wrap OFF!! This skirt is not only simple to make, but it is very easy to wear. It took me a couple of hours to cut and sew this piece!! I made View C, because I think the gathered ruffle is super adorable…and stylish.

All you need is a solid basic top (I suggest a bodysuit), because this skirt is a fashion star. You can wear it in the Summer with sandals, the Winter with boots, and in the Spring with anything!

I wore this skirt to run my errands and felt so good in it. It had the right amount of bounce, felt full, and fell at a great midi point on my legs. The wind was blowing for a moment, and the underwrap portion of the skirt still kept me covered. I’m sure my fabric choice helped with that (as well).

I wasn’t able to take many pictures, as the lighting outside did not cooperate. Also, I was too lazy to walk to the garage to get my cute sandals.

I will make this again…AND will have a great selection of photos to go with it!!!
